So...Why do I need to Know How to Write Professionally..
Admit it, you guys have all thought that at least once. I'll even admit that I can be accused of saying that in the past. A lot of us don't actually think of the importance of the writing we do in our every day lives. Not realizing the impact of our writing can lead to a lot of potential losses.
Whatever our career choice is really has no impact on whether our writing should be professional or not. Whether we are writing to a potential client, our colleagues, or even in casual writing; grammar and syntax can never be over perfected. The appearance we could give off through such a simple mistake as spelling a word wrong, can never be fixed. That is why learning to write professionally will maximize every aspect of your career.
The video I posted below, will help you improve your writing and thus the way you appear, instantly. I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch it.

Michele,
ReplyDeleteI loved both of the video's you posted. It seems like you put a lot of work into this post and it was very well organized and informative. I guess the only thing that could use inprovement is maybe a little more voice?? However... I know that mine is lacking in that department too because it is hard to write from a personal experience when none of us have really entered the professional office setting yet. Great Job!
Thanks Jenna! The first video was the photostory I made.
ReplyDeleteYour voice clearly comes out in this post. I like how you made it personal and made a connection with your reader. I would have only used the photostory and a graphic instead of two videos. I definitely like the choice of your topic and the information you presented was helpful. You did a great job with the photostory. Overall, it is a great post!!
ReplyDeleteGood post! You can never have enough videos.. its great that you had more than one. Definitely some good information. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou did an excellent job on the Photostory! You covered a lot of great topics. The only thing I can say is that you could have worked with Alan and made one Photostory that would have counted for the both of you. You put a lot of time and effort into this post and it shows!
